Shelly Monfort, Starlight Studios

Shelly has been a major driving force for the Magical Glass Pumpkin Patch since its start.

In her glass work, Shelly likes to incorporate ancient and contemporary cultural symbols, using hot glass sculptural and color glass powder techniques along with cold glass working such as sand blasting, acid etching and diamond cutting. In addition to classic glass pumpkins, she is also adept in making some adorable glass chickens.

When she isn’t glass blowing, Shelly pursues her other passions such as auto racing, gardening, archeology and art.
